Typically, about one week before the possession date, your Real Estate Lawyer will want to meet to sign documents. Once that occurs the transfer of land process is underway. It is time to pack up, clean up, and prep! Forward your Mail and Contacts to your New Address. Collect the Keys, Codes, Garage Door Openers, Operating Manuals, and any Security System Instructions and put them all in one safe place (easy for the new owners to find but not visible from any windows).
